Mother’s Day Cake Recipes
If your mom loves desserts, she’ll love any recipe you choose! Since there are only two days left until the big day, we have chosen extremely simple recipes that are prepared quickly! Chocolate, fruit or milky sweetness, we have everything you need! Make this day special by preparing not only a delicious dish for Mother’s Day, but also complementing it with a delicious dessert! Without further ado, here are three Mother’s Day cake recipes tested and approved by the DeaVita team!
light chocolate cake
This buttery-creamy delight will make your head spin! Its thick chocolate flavor is unlike any other. Here’s what you need to make it:
- 70 g butter
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- ⅔ cup of hot coffee
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ⅔ cup chocolate fudge
- A pinch of kosher salt
- 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup cream
For chocolate cream frosting:
- 6 tablespoons of milk
- 5 cups powdered sugar
- A pinch of kosher salt
- ¾ cup softened butter
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla
In a large bowl, mix the icing sugar, cocoa powder, salt and butter. Add vanilla and 4-5 tablespoons of milk or cream. Finally, keep mixing until everything is smooth.

- First preheat the oven to 175°C and butter two baking pans. Cut the parchment paper to fit the bottom of the pan so that the cake comes off easily.
- Then lightly roll them in a little flour.
- In a small bowl, mix coffee and cocoa.
- Then, in another bowl, mix together 2 cups flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Place butter and sugar in a large bowl. Beat them until light, about 3-4 minutes. Add eggs. Add vanilla-coffee mixture and stir.
- Combine dry ingredients, then add fresh cream and mix well.
- Then distribute the mixture evenly between the two molds and bake for 40-50 minutes.
- To assemble, place one layer of cake upside down on a flat plate. Then brush the top with a layer of chocolate buttercream. Place the second cake upside down on the bottom and fill the top and sides with a thin layer of cream.
Fruit cake for mom.
Here is an easy and delicious summer cake in rainbow colors. It is light, fruity and very tasty. Here are the ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1-2 teaspoons of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of kosher salt
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs and 1 large egg white
- 1 cup buttermilk at room temperature
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- fruits of your choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup strong hot coffee
Vanilla frosting:
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 to 3 tablespoons of milk
- In a medium bowl, combine the powdered sugar and butter with a spoon or electric mixer on low speed. Add vanilla and 1 tablespoon milk.
- Finally, gradually add the remaining milk so that the frosting is smooth and easy to spread.

- Preheat oven to 175°C. Spray your chosen pan with non-stick spray.
- Combine sugar and salt, flour, cocoa, baking soda and baking powder in the bowl of an electric mixer. Beat on low speed until the mixture is smooth.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, buttermilk, butter and vanilla.
- Return mixer to low speed and slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix for about 20-30 seconds until the ingredients are combined.
- Then add coffee and stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cooking time is approximately 35-45 minutes.
- Finally, decorate with frosting and fruit of your choice.
egg flan recipe
This is by far the easiest and easiest recipe out of the three! If others seem a bit complicated to you, you can’t go wrong with this delicious pie! Here’s what you need:
- 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 package cream cheese, softened
- 5 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup water
instructions
- First, cook sugar and water over medium heat until golden brown. Pour quickly into an ungreased round bowl and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Then beat the cream cheese in a bowl until smooth. Then stir in the eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Pour in caramelized sugar.
- Then place the dish in a large mold and pour boiling water over it. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes.
- Remove the dish from the large skillet and place it on the wire rack. Leave to cool for at least an hour!
- Finally, to remove the mold, run a knife around the edges and invert onto a large platter.
